The amount of instrument requests the OS gets is insurmountably absurd and annoying, as Jacob_ and the developers have already stated, more instruments will make the sequencer and the site as a whole more laggy to use.

I've been using my accordion for a few weeks now and I really like it. It's great for travel, watching movies and playing games. I recently found https://www.npmjs.com/package/sf2-loader which is a thing that can be used with node.js so maybe if integrated, the issue of instruments will be reduced. This also allows for a wider range of instruments without the need of mass server space as sf2 is a compressed instrument format. Like 50+ instruments in a 50mb file!! This might even help with cross compatibility with midi instruments themselves
