I'm trying to translate Eddie Burke's extention of "Patient" by Toby Fox. However, there are some difficulties I've found that there were no good solutions to.

1: Starting at the 33rd measure, there's a polyrhythmic alternation between left and right on the lead that I couldn't adequately replicate with markers. The best I could find was the "Schema" option for reverb.
2: I have trouble between the 60th and 62nd measure with the melody. Maybe I'm just hearing it wrong, because Patient is detuned down about a microtone. I can't lay the reference audio over the sequence, because it decyncs before the 9th measure.
3: The instrument I've chosen to use as 8-bit triangle also alternates like the lead does later. This causes issues, because I already chose 8-bit triangle for that instrument too, as the sine is too quiet for anything, the square is the bass and backing melody during that section, and the saw is obnoxsious for anything but bass. Currently, I'm using the 8-bit square, but it doesn't sound right when most everything else is too.

There could be a way to add soundfonts to a sequence, or a tool to duplicate an instrument like in BeepBox, but I can't find either.

This is the reference video I'm using

I'm sorry if the terminology or the explanations make no sense, but I never studied music theory past the fifth grade. I tried to describe all of my issues with the best lay terms I could.

OS has a few limitations, if you are trying to make an accurate cover, perhaps try a DAW like Ardour or Reaper or Cakewalk (these three are really good and free). They give you MUCH more flexibility and the only limit there is your ears

Hi! If you want me to listen to your songs and provide feedback, please use the export .mp3 feature and send to my forum! Don't send large files or google drive links, Vocaroo is preferred.

Thanks for the help! I'll see if they aren't too convoluted; I'm not that good with particularly technical DAWs.

You dont newd to know what all the buttons do to use it, its pretty simple to just add tracks and add effects to those tracks and stuff
